The 47th Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival Gets Ready

The annual festival from 11-20 July features citywide jazz and blues performances from award winning artists.

2025 marks the 47th annual jazz and blues festival and features over 100 music concerts jam packed into 10 days.

The festival will feature performances from award winning jazz artists from across the globe alongside new names and music from Scottish bands.

This year's festival is already shaping up to be one of the largest jazz events in Europe.

It promises to create memorable experiences for both residents of the city and visitors from around the globe.

Performers are set to arrive from 8th July onwards with visitors arriving at Edinburgh airport expectant to see an eclectic array of musical instruments and performers from all across the globe.

As per usual, the performances will take place across the city in venues ranging from major event spaces and concert halls to churches and community centres.

As one local resident stated, “Anywhere there is space for a piano and a double base, there’ll be jazz.”
